Dry-Lam

Showing 20 of 50 products in Dry-Lam.

Dry-Lam covers laminating from end to end: the machines, the film that runs through them and the cleaning kits and stands that keep them working. The range is built for schools, print shops, sign makers and in-house production teams.

Because Dry-Lam makes both the laminators and the film, matching a roll to a machine is straightforward — you are not guessing whether a third-party film will run at the right temperature.

What we stock

The Element Series laminators come in 27-inch and 40-inch widths across Standard, Professional and Deluxe specifications, and each is also sold as a complete kit bundling the laminator with a cart, film and cleaning kit. Film covers Trade-Lam and School-Lam thermal rolls, the Everstick HLA sticky-back range, ALM roll films in gloss, matte and silk matte, single-sided and uncoated liner films, plus pouches and transparency film. Accessories include the large laminating stand and the laminator cleaning kit.

How to choose

  • Width first — Pick the machine width for the widest item you laminate; a 27-inch machine cannot be made wider later.
  • Film thickness — Thinner films from 1.2 to 1.5 mil suit documents. Heavier 5 and 10 mil films are for signage, menus and anything handled repeatedly.
  • Finish — Gloss lifts color and contrast, matte and silk matte cut glare — the usual choice for wall-mounted or brightly lit displays.
  • Core size — Films come on 1-inch and 2¼-inch cores. Check which your machine takes before ordering rolls.
  • Buy the kit — If you are starting from scratch, the laminator kits work out simpler than sourcing the stand, film and cleaning kit separately.

Frequently asked questions

Which Dry-Lam film fits my laminator?

Match three things: roll width, film thickness in mil, and core size. Our product pages list all three. If you tell us your machine model we will confirm the right roll.

What is the difference between the Standard, Professional and Deluxe Element laminators?

They differ in speed, temperature control and duty cycle rather than width. Standard suits occasional school and office use; Professional and Deluxe are built for daily production.

What is Everstick HLA film for?

Everstick is a sticky-back laminating film — it laminates and provides an adhesive backing in one pass, which is what you want for mounting prints to board or applying graphics to a surface.

How often should a laminator be cleaned?

Clean the rollers whenever adhesive builds up or output starts showing marks; in daily production that is typically weekly. The DL-CLKIT cleaning kit is made for this.
